Effective September 29, 2026. This page describes the data flows verified in the current app and analysis-service code.
When you request melody analysis, Perroquet uploads the selected or recorded audio to the GogoLabs analysis service hosted at perroquet-production.up.railway.app. The service processes the audio to return detected notes, timing, and diagnostic values.
The service receives technical request data such as the file name, content type, upload size, timestamps, and network connection metadata. Depending on server configuration, approximate location derived from the connection address may be recorded for analysis diagnostics.
The service code can retain uploaded audio, analysis results, and diagnostics for quality review and can send analysis notifications through an email provider. The exact production retention period is not yet documented; do not upload confidential audio.
Microphone access is used only after permission is granted. Temporary local recording and upload files are removed by the app after the relevant operation, while exports you explicitly save remain under your control.
Data is used to perform melody analysis, diagnose failures, improve analysis quality, and answer support requests. Service providers used for hosting and email may process the data solely to provide those functions. GogoLabs does not sell this data.
You can avoid remote processing by not starting an analysis. To request access or deletion, email contact@gogolabs.fr with the approximate analysis date and any non-sensitive details needed to locate it.
